Welcome to Snow Societies!
I’m Alex, Snow’s 2025/26 Societies Officer, and I am really excited to be working with the 30+ societies on offer here at Snow. I’ll be here all year to oversee the running of societies and to offer support throughout the year for event planning, room bookings, boosting engagement and celebrating all your successes along the way! I will also be in charge of organising the Freshers’ Fair and the Sports and Societies Formal at the end of the year with the Sports Officer!
Keep an eye on @snow.societies on Instagram for updates and events throughout the year. From exec opportunities to socials to new societies arising, there is never a dull day for societies here at Snow! We are all very excited to see what you get up to with the wide range of interests and events covered across Snow!

Got things to say? Join the John Snow Debating and Public Speaking Society! We’re a supportive, energetic community meeting weekly for lively debates on diverse topics. Everyone’s welcome, whether you’re a seasoned debater or new to public speaking. Our debates are featured on Instagram, and we regularly host political discussions. Society Snapshot – John Snow Pizza Society
Although new to John Snow, pizza society has already become well-known. We want to provide everyone in college the opportunity to be part of an exciting society. Our first social with F1 society was a huge success with the pizza going down quickly. We also wanted to treat everyone in college with some free dominos at Welfare Wednesday during exams. We have many plans in the works for socials to happen next year. We are really looking forward to seeing how pizza society comes along in the next few years and hope to create a name for ourselves!
